Four Qualities of a Successful Technique

  Safety – You must have concern for your safety as well as on lookers.   Courtesy – Show courtesy to the opponent by determining the severity of the situation. After determining the severity, apply the correct amount of force and the placement of the ball kick. When practicing, you also show courtesy to you partner. We also show courtesy by properly using this information, never to be abusive or offensive.   Show – Do the technique right = Good Show. Get hit = Bad Show.   Efficiency – Using the most efficient and effective weapon to the most efficient and effective target. Also known as Economy of Motion.
